Had to choose between a big silly scarecrow or a tiny garden gnome village

I went with the gnome village because I figured it wouldn't freak out my neighbors as much. Now I got 12 gnomes living in a fake mossy castle and I keep tripping over them when I water the tomatoes. Anyone else end up regretting their weird garden choice?

12 gnomes seems like overkill but at least they aren't 4 feet tall and staring into your kitchen window. Maybe put them all on one side of the garden so you stop tripping over the fake mossy castle. Did you consider that maybe your real regret should be buying a village instead of just one or two gnomes.

See I kinda like the village idea though. A couple scattered around feels more accidental, like they multiplied when you weren't looking. Idk, maybe that's just a weird preference.
