Last month my tomato plant grew a weird horn shape and my neighbor swore it was a demon sign
I left it on the vine for 3 extra days and it curled into this 6 inch spike that looked exactly like a carrot crossed with a claw, so now I'm growing all my tomatoes next to that same fence spot to see if it happens again - anyone else's veggies ever turn into something that doesn't look like a vegetable?

Water that fence spot heavy like once a week and see if it changes anything - I had a cucumber plant do something similar last summer, twisted into a spiral that looked more like a shell than a vegetable. Could be a magnesium thing in the soil, I've seen that make tomatoes go all weird shapes before, maybe grab a cheap soil test kit from the garden center if you want to be sure. Keep an eye on it though, sometimes that kind of curling means the plant's stressed and might not produce as much later on.

That sounds wild but honestly probably not a demon sign. Plants just do weird stuff sometimes when they get inconsistent water or a random nutrient spike. My own bell peppers came out looking like twisted little blobs one year and I swear it was just because I forgot to water them for a week straight. @davis.mia is probably right about the magnesium thing but also maybe chill out on the fence spot experiment. You might end up with a whole row of mutant veggies that taste exactly like normal tomatoes.
