Wasted $60 on a UV light for glowing garden stuff - total scam
I bought this UV spotlight from Amazon thinking it would make my glow-in-the-dark painted garden gnomes pop at night. Turns out most glow paints need UV-A light, not the cheap UV-B junk this thing put out. After three nights of barely visible junk, I tested it with a UV card my buddy had. Zero output on the right wavelength. Stick to blacklight bulbs from a hardware store, they cost $12 and actually work. Anyone else get burned by fake UV gear?

Bought a "military grade" flashlight off Amazon last year. Ad said 10,000 lumens. Got it in the mail. Thing was smaller than my thumb. Put batteries in it. Barely lit up a dark closet. Threw it in the glovebox for emergencies. Still disappointed every time I see it.
