A guy at a hardware store made me rethink my worbla thickness

Tbh I was grabbing some 2mm sheets for a pauldron build and this older cosplayer overheard me complaining about heat warping, then said he always layers 1mm sheets instead because it bends more evenly. Has anyone else tried stacking thin worbla vs using the thick stuff for curved pieces?

Oh man, I totally feel this! I switched to layering 1mm sheets for my last helmet build after fighting with 2mm forever, and it honestly saved my sanity. The thinner layers let me shape each pass over the form without fighting the material, and the final piece felt just as solid once I fused them together.
