Foam clay cracked on my Deathstroke helmet after two days
Spent 6 hours sculpting a smooth mask with foam clay, then it dried and cracked like dry mud. Anyone know a flexible coating that actually stays flexible on cosplay foam?

Buddy of mine had the same thing happen on a Mandalorian helmet. He switched over to using Liquid Latex mixed with a bit of acrylic paint as a top coat, and it stayed bendy and never cracked again. He said you just have to thin it down a little with water so it doesn't leave brush strokes. Made his prop look way more professional too.

Haha yeah that sounds way more pro than my current method which is just "hope the paint doesn't crack" and then crying about it later... maybe I should try the latex thing instead of crossing my fingers so hard.
