My Worbla breastplate melted a dent into my carpet during a heatwave
I was shaping a piece for my Dark Souls cosplay in my apartment in Queens and left the heating gun on the floor for 30 seconds. The Worbla dripped onto the nylon carpet and fused into a permanent brown pancake. Has anyone found a way to get this stuff out of carpet without burning through the padding underneath?

Permanent brown pancake" is brutal, I'm sorry. My friend Jess had almost the exact same thing happen with some leftover EVA foam she was melting down for a test piece, and it left a shiny smear on her living room rug. She found that freezing the spot with an ice pack and trying to chip it out with a dull butter knife worked, but it totally murdered the carpet fibers underneath.
