That time my EVA foam helmet melted under a heat lamp at a con in 2018

I was getting ready for a local con in Chicago and left my freshly painted Mandalorian bucket under a heat lamp to dry... came back 20 minutes later and the whole thing had sagged into an oval shape. Had to rebuild the dome from scratch that night using freezer paper templates. Has anyone else ruined a prop with heat and managed to salvage it?

@davis.ivan you were right, I used to ignore the science but that melted bucket changed my mind.

Heat lamps are for food not foam, you ignored basic material science.
