Thought foam clay was a scam until I tried it on my Mando helmet

Ngl I was super skeptical about foam clay for filling gaps on armor pieces. I had this nasty seam line on my Mandalorian helmet where the two halves met, and sanding wasn't cutting it. After watching a tutorial from a maker in Austin, I gave it a shot and it smoothed out like a dream in just 10 minutes. Has anyone else had success with foam clay for small details or am I just lucky?
