Tried Worbla vs foam for a helmet build and Worbla won by a mile

The 3mm thick Worbla is what really sold me on it for helmets. I spent a whole weekend failing with foam trying to get smooth curves around the jaw area. Foam just kept leaving these weird lumps and bumps no matter how much I sanded. With Worbla I can heat it up and pull it tight to get that clean, seamless look in about 20 minutes. Plus the surface takes paint way better without needing a ton of filler primer first. I still use foam for armor pieces since it's cheaper and lighter, but for helmets it is Worbla all the way.

Yeah the lumps and bumps thing drove me crazy too. I found that if you score the foam in a crosshatch pattern before heating it helps some, but Worbla just saves you the headache.
