Worbla vs. craft foam weight numbers surprised me big time
I was looking up material densities for a new pauldron build and found that a full Worbla sheet runs about 1.5 pounds per square foot, while 6mm EVA foam is closer to 0.4 pounds. That stat from Kamui's old comparison guide really made me rethink my torso armor plans. I've been using foam for years, but for a shoulder piece that needs to hold shape without sagging, that extra weight adds up fast. Has anyone else switched materials after checking the actual weight specs, or am I just overthinking this?
