Last Tuesday was the worst cable management day I have ever had

I spent 4 hours rerouting everything under my desk. Got it looking clean, then bumped a power strip with my foot and the whole thing came crashing down. Had to redo all 8 zip ties. Anyone else have a perfect setup fall apart in seconds?

...and that's when I decided to just let the cables hang like spaghetti under my desk forever lol. I had mine looking like a professional install, even used those little adhesive cable clips. Then I tried to plug in a new monitor and ripped three of them right off the desk. Now I just pretend the mess is "industrial chic" or whatever.

oh man, that exact thing happened to me last year. I had everything routed through this nice cable raceway channel, looked so clean. Then my cat decided to chase a fly under the desk and yanked the whole raceway off the wall. Took me like two hours to get it stuck back on and then I just gave up and shoved the extra cable length behind my monitor. I swear it's a curse, you get one thing looking nice and the universe just decides to mess with you.
