Measured my desk footprint wrong and ended up with a 3 inch gap against the wall...
Found out from a YouTube video by a guy in Seattle that most pre-cut butcher block countertops actually shrink about half an inch after you bring them inside, which would have saved me a lot of swearing if I knew before I cut my legs.

honestly @aaronlee i used to be the type who thought "ahh i'll remember the details" and then boom, exactly this happens. totally changed how i double check everything now before i even pick up the saw.
