My monitor arm finally clicked after trying 4 different ones

I spent a whole week in March fighting with a cheap gas spring arm that kept drooping every few hours. Out of frustration I borrowed a friend's old used one from 2019 and it held my 27 inch screen perfectly for 8 straight night shifts. Turns out the problem wasn't the brand, it was that I never tightened the tilt screw past finger tight. Anyone else waste money on new gear before checking the simple fix?
