Spent $150 on a Cable Management Kit from Amazon and it was a total waste

I bought this big kit with clips, sleeves, and velcro straps thinking it would clean up my desk. Turns out the adhesive on the clips was garbage, they fell off after 3 days. The cable sleeves were too stiff to bend around my monitor arm too. I ended up just using some zip ties I had in the garage for free and it looks way better. Has anyone else had bad luck with those all in one cable management boxes?

I mean the velcro strips in mine worked fine actually.

Oh man that's exactly what happened with mine too. I was so annoyed because the adhesive clips worked okay for like a day then started peeling off one by one. Did you try using the velcro strips or did they just seem too flimsy to bother with? I swear those kits are just made to look good in the product photos but fall apart in real life. The zip ties were a solid move though sometimes the simplest stuff really does work better than the fancy gadgets. I'm curious what made you decide to grab zip ties instead of just returning the whole kit?
