Spent $60 on a standing desk converter and my back hated it more than sitting
Last month I grabbed one of those sit-stand desk risers off Amazon for $60 thinking it would fix my whole setup, but after two weeks my shoulders were wrecked because the keyboard tray sat way too high and I kept hunching to reach it. I tried stacking books under my monitor and shoving the thing to the edge of the desk, which helped a little but not enough to justify keeping it. Am I the only one who thinks these converters are a trap and a real sit-stand desk is the only fix worth the money?
