Switched from zip ties to velcro wraps for cable management and I'm never going back

I used to be all about those zip ties, you know, the ones you cinch down super tight under your desk. Thought they looked clean and professional. Then last month I had to swap out my monitor arm for a taller one from a friend's old setup, and I spent like 45 minutes snipping all those zip ties off. Cut my finger on a sharp plastic edge too (ouch). A coworker at my shop in Austin showed me how he uses those roll velcro strips you cut to length, and honestly it's way easier. Now I can reroute a cable in 2 minutes instead of fighting with cutters. The velcro doesn't scratch my desk frame either. Has anyone else made this switch and found a brand that doesn't lose its grip after a few months?

Went velcro two years ago and never looked back. The key is getting the industrial strength roll, not the cheap craft store stuff. Had a spool from Home Depot that still holds tight after moving my desk around twice. The best part is when you need to add a new cable you just peel back one strip instead of grabbing the snippers. Only downside is they collect dust bunnies over time.

Did you try shaking the dust bunnies off or just ignore them like I do?
