Took me 3 years to figure out a simple cable management trick from a YouTube comment in Ohio

I was watching a video on desk builds and some random person said to use adhesive cable clips under your desk for the monitor cables at 5 bucks for a pack of 20. Had my cables dangling in a rats nest for years before that tip, has anyone else found a cheap solution that works way better than it should?

Disagree with that one honestly. Those adhesive clips fall off after a few months when the room gets warm and the glue softens. Had a couple drop right off and my cables ended up dangling worse than before. I switched to using small command hooks meant for light cords, those stay put way better. They cost a bit more but you don't have to redo the whole thing every summer.

My desk looked like a cable horror movie after three of those clips let go at once. Woke up to my phone charger wrapped around my coffee mug like a snake. Got so mad I just taped everything down with duct tape for two weeks. Looked terrible but hey, at least it stayed. The command hooks honestly saved my setup and my dignity. Guess you can call me the poster child for learning the hard way.
