Yesterday my buddy showed me his desk cable setup and I felt dumb
He just used black zip ties and those little sticky cable clips from the dollar store, cost maybe $3 total. My desk still looks like spaghetti after spending $40 on a fancy cable management kit. Anyone else find a super cheap trick that worked way better than the expensive stuff?

The expensive kit I bought had all these little clips and channels that didn't even stick to my desk right. Dollar store zip ties and command strips have held up better for like 2 years now. I spent $60 on a "premium" cable tray that ended up sagging in the middle, meanwhile my buddy's zip ties look clean as hell. Sometimes the cheap garbage wins and it hurts my pride to admit it.

Blame your setup, not the zip ties, premium stuff works fine when you actually mount it right.
