Counted my spare controller shells last night and hit 40, which is 12 more than I thought I owned
I keep a big bin under my workbench for shells I have swapped off over the past two years, mostly PS4 and Switch Pro bodies I painted or cut grips into, and last night I finally dumped it out and counted them one by one. Forty shells, and I honestly guessed 28 when my buddy asked. Twelve of them are from failed spray paint jobs in my garage in Tucson where the clear coat went cloudy because it was 104 degrees out. The weird part is I can name the controller each one came off of, but I have zero memory of buying half of them. How many spare shells are you all sitting on, and do you keep them or toss them once the paint goes bad?
