Grip tape vs silicone grips on Xbox controller after 3 months
I put cheap grip tape on one controller and a silicone cover on another back in January, and the difference now is wild. The grip tape is peeling off on the edges and left sticky residue, while the silicone cover still looks brand new after daily use. Has anyone else seen grip tape degrade faster than silicone over a few months?

Honestly, I used to swear by grip tape, but your post just convinced me to switch to silicone.

Man that's a big change for someone who was team grip tape. I feel you though, once you try silicone it really does change everything. Grip tape just tears up your hands after a while and collects so much dirt and grime. Silicone feels cleaner and you don't have to replace it as often.
