Had to pick between short and tall thumbsticks for my Xbox controller

I went with the tall ones for FPS games because I wanted more precision, but now my aim feels wobbly after a week of use. Has anyone else found the tall sticks harder to control for fast movements?

I read somewhere that tall sticks can mess with muscle memory for quick flicks.

Man, I used to be all about tall sticks. I thought they gave me better control for micro-adjustments. But then I tried my friend's setup with short sticks and my flicks got WAY more consistent. I was overshooting everything with the tall ones without even realizing it. Really made me rethink my whole controller setup, honestly.

Oh yeah totally agree! Tall sticks made me feel like I had more control but I was just missing everything lol.
