PSA: soldering your joystick wires vs crimping them, I know which one I'm never doing again
Swapped the sticks in my 8BitDo last month and went with solder because everyone online said crimps come loose, but my shaky hands turned it into a 2 hour mess with wires popping off mid match. A friend crimped his with a $12 kit from Amazon and finished in 15 minutes, and his have held up fine through 3 months of ranked play. So is soldering actually better or did I just make my life harder for no reason?
