PSA: Your controller's rumble motors can rattle loose over time

Was playing at 2 AM and my Xbox controller started sounding like a maraca. Opened it up and sure enough one of the rumble motors had vibrated itself right out of its plastic housing. A tiny dab of super glue on the clips fixed it in 5 minutes has anyone else had this happen?

Bruh my PS5 controller started doing the exact same thing last month. I was in the middle of a boss fight and suddenly it felt like I was shaking a bag of loose change. The plastic clips on mine were completely snapped off not just loose. I ended up just ripping the whole motor out because I never really use rumble anyway. Honestly I think the rumble feature is kinda overrated and just drains battery faster. But if you want to keep yours glued in is definitely the move.

Oh man I had a buddy whose DualSense started sounding like a broken toy during a tense round of Apex. He was so mad he just took the whole motor out with pliers and tossed it. Said the controller felt lighter and he didn't miss it at all.
