Swapped my Xbox sticks for taller ones and my aim got worse for 2 weeks
I grabbed a pair of cheap grip caps from the local shop and figured taller meant better aim right away. I played about 8 hours over 3 days and my shots were trash, like missing easy targets bad. So I took them off and went back to the stock height for a bit, then tried again but with just the right stick raised this time. That did the trick, something about my left thumb wanting the short stick for movement and the right one liking the extra travel. I used a small piece of tape under the cap too so it wouldn't slip during long sessions. Did anyone else have to split the heights instead of going tall on both sticks?
