Swapped out my Xbox joysticks for Hall effect sensors after the stick drift got unbearable

Picked the Gulikit ones over the TMR style because they were half the price ($15 vs $30) and I figured I'd rather mess up cheap parts if I botched the soldering. Honestly, the calibration was a pain but the dead zone is basically zero now has anyone else noticed Hall effects feel a little loose compared to the originals?

Dude yeah I totally agree, my Hall effects felt weirdly loose at first too. Had to get used to the lighter tension after using the stock ones for so long, it's like the springs are way softer. Took me a good few hours of gaming before it stopped feeling like the sticks were gonna fly off.

Wait, hold up - @davis.ivan are you saying the sticks literally felt like they were gonna fly off? Like physically pop out of the controller? Mine just felt floaty and loose, but yours actually seemed like they were disconnecting? That's wild, I gotta say. I've been using these for a few weeks now and honestly I still get that panicky feeling sometimes when I flick too hard in an FPS, like the stick is gonna just keep spinning forever. But flying off? That's a whole different level of anxiety, dude.
