Took me 4 nights to get one Xbox stick drift fix to actually hold

Swapped the joystick modules on my Elite Series 2 last week and the drift came back after two days of play. Turns out the replacement modules I got off a dude on eBay had way looser tolerances than the originals, so the calibration kept sliding. I must have resoldered those three pins like six times before I figured out the pot itself was bad, not my joints. Finally just bought proper modules from a shop in Ohio and it held on the first try. Anyone got a brand of stick modules that doesn't feel like a coin flip?
