Why nobody talks about hall effect sticks for drift-prone PS5 controllers
A buddy of mine at an Orlando LAN party swapped his stick modules out last month and said something stuck with me: "you're not fixing drift, you're just delaying it." He was right, after 6 months of my DualSense jittering in ranked matches, I finally ordered a hall effect set and a soldering kit for $38. Has anyone else made the jump and noticed the tension feels different than stock sticks?

Man every time I fix something around the house I notice the same thing. My buddy replaced the hinges on his kitchen cabinets and they feel way heavier than the cheap ones from the store, but they actually work right. Same with my car's brake pads, the good ones squeak for a week but stop on a dime. We just get so used to things being half broken that when something actually works properly it feels off at first. That tension difference probably just means it's doing its job. Give it a couple weeks of ranked matches and your thumb will forget the old feel completely.
