Figuring out my own baseboard mistake after a trip to the hardware store

So I was at the Ace Hardware on Elm Street last weekend, buying more caulk for the third time on my living room trim. The old guy there asked what I was doing and then politely pointed out I'd been cutting my baseboard corners all wrong. He showed me this simple coping saw trick right there in the aisle. Has anyone else had a random stranger at the store totally save their project?

Best free DIY lesson you'll ever get, honestly.

Tbh that post from @mason_barnes is spot on. I tried fixing a leaky faucet last month with a YouTube video and saved like $150 on a plumber. Honestly it was one of those things where I just needed someone to show me once and it clicked. Ngl I was nervous at first thinking I'd flood the whole kitchen but it turned out way easier than I expected. Now I'm addicted to watching those repair tutorials for everything around the house.
