Picked sanded grout over unsanded for my bathroom tile and now I'm regretting it
The unsanded would have been fine for those tiny joints but I listened to the guy at the hardware store and now the sanded stuff is scratching my polished tiles. Anyone else have a grout choice go wrong like this?

Did you try sealing the tiles first? Live and learn I guess.

Had a buddy who tried to save money on a bathroom reno by skipping sealer. He thought it was just a gimmick from the tile stores. First time his kids took a bath the grout soaked up water like a sponge and started looking all dark and moldy. He ended up having to tear out half the tile and redo it anyway. Sealer is cheap compared to that headache.
