Switched from paint rollers to a sprayer for my basement ceiling

Used to spend 6 hours rolling a ceiling and still miss spots, but after I rented a Graco sprayer for $45, I finished the whole thing in 90 minutes with zero drips. Has anyone else found that sprayers save that much time on big flat surfaces?

Oh yeah, sprayers are totally worth it for big ceilings. I did my garage a couple years ago and it was the same thing. Rollers just take forever and you're always looking up trying to catch the missed spots. The sprayer does it so smooth and even, no sore arms the next day. Just make sure you cover everything you don't want painted, that overspray drifts more than you'd think.
