Boarded up a window at 2 AM with duct tape and a pizza box, it held for 3 days

My neighbor's kid put a baseball through my garage window during a party last Saturday, and I was too stubborn to drive 20 miles to the 24-hour hardware store. I flattened a large pizza box, layered it with packing tape, and wedged it in the frame with a 2x4 I had lying around. Anyone else got a sketchy late-night patch job that somehow worked way better than it should have?
