Finally got my 3D printer's corner blobs sorted after 11 months of fighting it
Honestly I almost sold this thing on Facebook Marketplace last month. Then around 1am last Tuesday in my garage here in Boise I finally checked my belt tension with an actual guitar tuner app instead of just eyeballing it. Turns out both belts were way off from each other and I'd been chasing flow settings for nothing. Printed a 20mm calibration cube and the corners are clean for the first time. Anyone else find out the fix was something dumb like belt tension the whole time?
Wasted so many weekends messing with flow rates and slicer settings thinking I knew exactly what the problem was. Then my buddy told me to check belt tension and I laughed it off because that seemed too basic. Lesson learned the hard way, turns out the boring stuff matters most.
