Finally stopped using a hand saw for every cut after 2 years of stubbornness

I used to cut all my trim and baseboard with a basic handsaw because I thought miter saws were for people with too much money. Last week I borrowed a buddy's 10 inch sliding miter saw for a baseboard job in my living room. Took me 15 minutes to do what used to take 2 hours. Anyone else hold onto a cheap method way longer than they should have?
