Found a trick at a garage sale in Phoenix that saved my hands
I was digging through some old tool boxes at a garage sale in Phoenix last month and found a vintage hand crank drill still in working condition. The seller said her dad used it for everything from framing to furniture. Anyone else try switching to old school manual tools just to give your wrists a break?

Is your wrist really that beat up from a drill you probably use twice a month? Sounds like a lot of hype for a tool that takes ten times longer to do the same job.

Yeah those old tools have better ergonomics than people give them credit for. Picked up a manual brace and bit set at an estate sale last year and my wrists thanked me after a weekend project. There is something nice about working slower and not having a power tool vibrating through your hands the whole time.
