Talked with my dad about his old workbench and it got me thinking
He told me he still uses the same drill press from 1982, said 'tools outlast most friendships' and honestly that hit different at 2am while I was sanding. Anyone else got a hand-me-down tool that makes you slow down and do things the old way?

My grandpa's old hand plane makes me think about how much slower work used to be, and maybe that was the point.
