Thought soldering irons with temp dials were a scam until my $40 one saved a 2am fix
Used a cheap fixed 30W stick for years and swore the dial was just marketing, but last Tuesday at 1am I bumped it to 700F and the joint on my kid's RC car finally took. Anyone else switch late and wonder why they waited?
