Visited a restored 1900s farmhouse and now I get the hype about hand tools
Drove out to a historic site near Lancaster last weekend and watched a guy reframe a window with a 100 year old handsaw. I've always been a cordless tool guy, figured old stuff was just slow and fussy. But he cut that joint clean in about 4 minutes, no dust, no noise, and the fit was dead on. Made me rethink picking up a decent vintage saw for small trim jobs here at night. Anyone else switch from power to hand tools for certain cuts and not look back?
