Drying screens in the sun vs. a fan - which actually gives better results for fine detail?

I ruined a 110 mesh screen last week by leaving it in direct sun to dry and the emulsion cracked everywhere, but my buddy swears by 20 minutes outside with no issues at all, has anyone else had better luck with a box fan and darkness?

Fan every time. Sun kills detail especially on finer meshes.

Honestly, wait, that just blew my mind a little. I never even thought about the sun being that bad for fine details. I did a test print once with a really tiny mesh pattern on a sunny day and it came out looking all blobby and weird, I just thought I messed up the resin settings or something. Tbh, that actually explains so much about why some of my smaller pieces have looked like garbage.
