Finally pulled off a one color job that actually looks professional
I've been trying to screen print at home for about 8 months now with a basic kit I got off Craigslist. Last weekend I printed a simple design for my neighbor's band - just one color on black shirts - and when I handed him the first one he said "dude this looks like you bought it at a real shop." Made my whole week honestly. Has anyone else had that moment where a simple print just clicked for you?

My buddy Mark spent like a year trying to get white ink to lay down right on dark shirts. He'd wash them once and they'd crack or peel off. Then one day he just switched to a different mesh count and slowed his pull speed way down. First print came out smooth and solid. He texted me a photo with just the word "finally" and I knew exactly what he meant. It's a great feeling when it all lines up.
