Just counted my last 3 months of misprints, 22 shirts trashed

I kept telling myself making mistakes was part of learning, but 22 ruined shirts in 90 days is straight up embarrassing. Has anyone else actually tracked their failure rate or do we all just pretend it's not happening?

See, I actually think 22 trashed shirts in 90 days is a pretty solid learning curve. You're pushing yourself enough to fail, which means you're not just doing the same easy prints over and over. I messed up maybe 15 screens last month alone, but half of those were me trying new halftone settings or testing a weird mesh count. If you're hitting 22, you're probably experimenting, and that's way better than the guy who's done 200 perfect shirts with the same three designs. The real problem is when you stop counting because you've stopped trying.
