My first screen tension meter reading at a garage sale saved my prints
Picked up a used tension meter for $15 at a garage sale in Dayton last weekend. Tested my old screens with it, turns out 3 of my 5 were way too loose. Fixed them with a cheap pulley rig and now my halftones on posters actually stay sharp. Anyone else use a meter or do you just eyeball it?

Heard a podcast where a printer said the meter pays for itself in one broken screen.
