Took a file to those rounded corners and my ink laydown on a 156 mesh screen came out way cleaner than with the $25 plastic ones I'd been buying ever since, so has anyone else gone back to the cheap wooden handles after writing them off?
When you filed the corners down, did you go straight across or follow the original curve a bit? I've got two old wooden ones sitting in a bucket that I gave up on, and I'm wondering if the angle matters on a 156. Also curious if you sealed the raw wood after filing or just left it bare.
