Rant: Blew $50 on emulsion that went bad in 3 months

I bought a quart of that cheap dual-cure emulsion from a random online seller last spring, and by August it was already separating no matter how much I stirred it. Has anyone else had luck with the $15 gallon jugs at the local art supply store, or is that just another gamble?

Yeah that sucks, bad emulsion is such a waste of money. I've had way better luck with the smaller local art store stuff even if it costs a bit more.

Blick student grade is decent for the price, but yeah once you try the good stuff it's hard to go back.
