My neighbor heard my lathe through the wall and said something that's been bugging me for 3 days
I was carrying my blank discs in from the truck last Tuesday and my neighbor Dale, who is 68 and has lived next to me in Akron for 6 years, asked what the humming noise was through the shared wall. I told him it was my record lathe and he just said "so you're making albums that already exist?" and walked back inside. I laughed it off but then spent the next 2 hours staring at my setup thinking about it. Like yeah, I'm cutting boots of stuff I own on wax, I'm not pressing my own band's album or anything. Do you guys actually cut original stuff or is everyone here just making copies of records they already have like me?
