Set my first record on the kitchen counter to cool and it warped into a taco shell shape
I pressed a test disc at home in Austin last weekend using a small manual press and the stampers were still warm when I pulled it, so I set it flat on the counter and walked away for 20 minutes. Came back to a 12 inch taco shell, the edge had lifted almost an inch, and I learned you need a proper cooling jig with weight on top or the vinyl just does whatever it wants while it sets. Anyone got a cheap jig setup that actually holds the disc flat?
