DAE skip the dollar store baking soda and just buy the big box at the grocery?

I used to grab those little $1 shakers for cleaning and deodorizing, but after going through 3 of them in a week I switched to a $2.50 box that lasts months. Am I missing a reason to stick with the small ones, or is it just convenience?
