Found a $1.25 fix for my wobbling patio table that actually held up

My patio table has been wobbling since June when one of the legs snapped a bolt. I was about to drop $40 on a new one when I passed the dollar store and grabbed a pack of those silicone cupcake liners on a whim. Slid four of them over the busted leg's base and wedged a folded cork coaster from the same aisle under the short side. Hasn't moved an inch through three windy afternoons and two cookouts. The liner even survived a surprise thunderstorm last Tuesday without getting soggy. Weirdest part is it looks less janky than the duct tape I tried first. Anyone else got a random dollar store item that fixed something way heavier than it should?
