Found a mini challenge at a birthday party, now I bring dollar stockings to every event
At my cousin's party in Tampa last month, nobody could hang a balloon arch so I grabbed 4 bucks worth of clear command hooks and ribbon from the checkout aisle, and now my friends ask me to do their party setups, anyone else turned a dollar store supply into a party side gig?

Keep a running list on your phone of what you used for each setup so you stop rebuying the same stuff. Command hooks, clear fishing line, and those little clip rings are the big three for balloon arches, and the dollar store version works fine as long as you double up the hooks for anything heavy. Charge for your time, not the supplies, since the supplies are basically nothing and people feel weird paying 40 bucks for a bag of hooks. Once word gets around you're the arch person you'll be booked every weekend, so decide now if you want that or just want to help friends for free.
