My dollar store picture frames became a full gallery wall in 2 hours

I picked up 8 plain black frames from Dollar Tree for $1.25 each last Saturday. After 2 hours of spray painting them with a metallic gold can I got there too, the whole look changed completely. The key was spacing them out on the floor first and measuring with a dollar store tape measure. Before this my hallway wall was bare and boring. Now it looks like a real feature wall with my kids' artwork inside. Has anyone else tried painting dollar store frames to match a room?

Gold spray paint and dollar store frames, the holy grail of bougie on a budget. Now your kids' macaroni art is worth its weight in gold, literally. Just don't let the spouse see the tape measure stuck to the floor, that's a permanent art installation now.
