My neighbor watched me build a whole garden trellis from $7 of stuff and said the darndest thing
So I'm out on my porch last Saturday zip tying together three packs of those little bamboo stakes and some twine from the Dollar Tree on 5th, trying to get this trellis up before my tomatoes fall over. My neighbor Dale walks by, watches me for a minute, and goes "that'll never hold, you're wasting your time." It's been two weeks, the thing is still standing, and my cucumbers are climbing it just fine. Why do people feel the need to pipe up when they see you making something work? Has anyone else had a neighbor just refuse to believe a cheap build could hold up?
